Bruno takes home award in first month

Bruno Fernandes has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for February 2020 following his perfect start to life at Manchester United.

The Portuguese midfielder scored one goal and registered two assists during his three Premier League appearances last month, helping us to a 0-0 draw away to Wolverhampton Wanderers, a 2-0 win at Chelsea and a 3-0 thrashing of Watford.

Bruno arrived at Old Trafford on 30 January 2020 from Sporting Club of Portugal and has made a huge impact on the team, narrowing the deficit on Chelsea in fourth to just three points, whilst also helping us progress in both the Europa League and FA Cup.

In all, the Portuguese superstar has made nine appearances in all competitions for Manchester United, hitting the back of the net three times and setting up four goals for teammates.

The previous Manchester United player to win the Player of the Month award had been Marcus Rashford, back in January 2019.
