Sam Curran to rejoin training camp after tested COVID-19 negative

Manchester: All-rounder Sam Curran has been tested negative for COVID-19 and once again ready to join England’s training camp ahead of West Indies Test series.

According to details, Curran had suffered diarrhea on Thursday after which he self-isolated himself and got tested for COVID-19. He left the team’s intra-group three-day match at Ageas Bowl.

After tested negative, Curran will now be able to rejoin training camp over the next 24-48 hours and will be closely monitored by the team doctor. Curran’s second COVID-19 test will be taken on Sunday.

England is scheduled to play three tests against West Indies from July 8. This will be first international series since cricket was stopped due to novel COVID-19 outbreak across the world.
